  სომხეთ-აზერბაიჯანის ომი და 31 ოქტომბრის საპარლამენტო არჩევნები   ნიკა ჩიტაძე საერთაშორისო საკითხების კვლევის ცენტრის დირექტორი   იმ ფაქტორების გათვალისწინებით, რომ საქართველოს მოსახლეობის დაახლოებით 10 -11 %- ს ეთნიკური სომხები და აზერბაიჯანელები შეადგენენ, ასევე ჩვენი ქვეყნის გეოგრაფიული მდებარეობიდან გამომდინარე, სომხეთ - აზერბაიჯანის სამხედრო კონფლიქტი , ბუნებრივია საქართველოზეც აისახება . თუკი ეს კონფლიქტი დროში გაიწელა და მისი არეალი მნიშნელოვნად გაფართოვდა , აღნიშნულმა შეიძლება 31 ოქტომბერს დაგეგმილ საპარლამენტო არჩევნებზეც მოახდინოს საკუთარი გავლენა. ეს გავლენა შეიძლება სხვადასხვა სახით გამოვლინდეს . მაგალითად , ქვემო ქართლის აზერბაიჯანელი და სამცხე- ჯავახეთის სომეხი მოსახლეობის მნიშვნელოვანი ნაწილი მთლიანად ამ ომზე იქნება კონცენტრირებული (მაგ: მას-მედიის საშუალებებით ინტენსიურად დააკვირდება ყარაბაღის რეგიონში მიმდინარე მოვლენებს და სხვ.) და ნაწილობრივ ჩამოსცილდება საქართველოში მიმდინარე წინა საარჩევნო პროცესებს . გარდა ამი
